Akpi is an almond from a fruit tree in the rainforest, djansang in Cameroon is its name by the Cameroonian people. This small fruit is very popular in African cuisines because of its flavor, In other words, the akpi raises the tastes of aubergine and clear sauces. It is also known for its medicinal qualities including triggering ovulation in women.
